Description
Indications
Psychovegetative disorders, decreased performance, impaired potency, reduced function of the sex glands, male infertility, aplastic anaemia.
Contraindications
Prostate cancer, liver tumours (including history).
Dosage
Use 25 mg 1-3 times/day for several months. In aplastic anaemia – 50 mg 3 times/day.
Side effects
Possible: unwanted frequent or prolonged erections.
Rarely: benign or malignant changes in the liver.
Special instructions
Mesterolone is used only in males.
Androgens are not intended to stimulate growth of muscle tissue in healthy individuals or to increase their performance.
During the period of use, regular rectal examination of the prostate gland is recommended.
Pregnancy and lactation
Mesterolone is used only in males.
In liver dysfunction
Contraindicated in case of liver tumours (including in the anamnesis).
