Proviron MULTIPHARM HEALTHCARE is a strong androgen with a weak level of anabolic activity. This is because, like dihydrotestosterone, mesviron is rapidly reduced to inactive diol metabolites in muscle tissue where the concentration of the enzyme 3-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase is high. Also, the view that the weak anabolic effect of this drug is indicative of its tendency to block androgen receptors in muscle tissue and thereby reduce gains from other, more potent muscle-building steroids should not be taken seriously.

In fact, due to its extremely high affinity for plasma proteins that bind SHBG, mesterolone can enhance the activity of other steroids by displacing a greater percentage of them into a free, unbound state.
